The film
«Falcon» follows the rise of Sergio Marchionne, who took the helm of Fiat in 2004 at a time of deep crisis for the company. The story follows the industrial transformation launched by the manager, through to the confrontation with the major American carmakers, from General Motors to Chrysler, and also dwells on the personal side of his story, in the tones of a financial thriller [1].
Among the central threads of the story is the relationship between Marchionne and John Elkann, played by Louis Garrel, heir of the Agnelli family [1].

Alongside Pierfrancesco Favino and Louis Garrel, the cast includes Benedetta Cimatti and Barbara Ronchi, with the participation of Valeria Bruni Tedeschi. The screenplay is written by Marco Bellocchio together with Ludovica Rampoldi, Andrea Di Stefano and Stefano Rulli, with the participation of Oliviero Del Papa [1].
The crew includes set designer Andrea Castorina, costume designer Daria Calvelli and editor Francesca Calvelli, already collaborators of Bellocchio on «Il traditore», «Esterno notte» and «Rapito». Cinematography is handled for the first time by Matteo Cocco, who previously worked on «The Weight» and «Volevo nascondermi» [1].

Italian distribution of «Falcon» will be handled by 01 Distribution, while international sales are entrusted to Rai Cinema International Distribution [1].
