Fatal collision between three cars between Busca and Costigliole Saluzzo (October 2026)

Late in the evening of Wednesday 14 October 2026, around 10.30 pm, on the provincial road between Busca and Costigliole Saluzzo, in the province of Cuneo, an Audi carrying two young men rear-ends a minicar ahead of it, possibly while overtaking; the minicar overturns into a field, while the Audi crosses into the opposite lane and collides head-on with a Fiat 500X. Samuele Muca, 22, a labourer from Costigliole Saluzzo driving the Audi, and Monica Formiglia, 56, an office worker from Borgo San Dalmazzo driving the 500X, die in the crash; three other people are injured, one seriously.¹²³⁴⁵
