A 38-year-old woman, who had long lived in Pinerolo and resided in Barge, dies on 24 September 2026 in a collision between two cars and a heavy goods vehicle on the SS589 state road in Saluzzo.1 Of the seven people altogether involved in the crash, the woman is the only victim.2

The identity of the victim
The victim of the crash is Abigail Romagnolo, 38, originally from the Pinerolo area and resident in Barge, who was driving the Fiat Punto involved in the collision with a Fiat Panda and a heavy goods vehicle; she is the thirtieth road fatality in the province of Cuneo since the start of the year. The other six people involved in the crash were uninjured [1][2].
