Extinction Rebellion
Extinction Rebellion is an international environmentalist movement, also active in Turin with protest initiatives and civil disobedience.
On 2 October 2026 satirical posters by the movement against the Italian government appeared under the porticoes of via Po in Turin, with caricatures of Giorgia Meloni, Donald Trump and Roberto Vannacci tied to a space rocket. The initiative was part of a campaign that appeared the same day in other Italian cities as well, launched after a defamation complaint was filed against one of the movement's activists.
