Costellazioni 2026 is the third edition of Costellazioni, a city-wide, participatory festival held in Turin from 7 to 21 November 2026. The event is conceived and organised by Asterlizze Aps, with artistic direction by Asterlizze and Il Menu della Poesia ("The Poetry Menu"), and touches seven of the city's eight districts [1][2].

The theme and aims

The subtitle of the 2026 edition is "Attraversamenti poetici" ("Poetic Crossings"). The programme weaves together theatre, poetry, music and participatory practices, taking the performing arts out of the traditional venues of performance and into theatres but also libraries, parks, neighbourhood community centres and everyday spaces [1][2]. The festival also offers free workshops aimed at different generations and communities, involving schools, libraries and residential care homes (Rsa) [1].

The programme

The festival opens on Saturday 7 November at 5pm in Parco del Valentino with The Walks, a project by Rimini Protokoll offering roughly 20-minute audio walks via an app, meeting under the Monumental Arch to the Artillery Corps; further performances are also scheduled for 8 and 14 November [2]. The same evening, at 9pm, San Pietro in Vincoli hosts Intrattenimento Violento ("Violent Entertainment") by Eleonora Danco [1][2].

On 12 November, at the Pav Parco Arte Vivente, La delicatezza del poco e del niente ("The Delicacy of Little and Nothing") is on the programme, an immersive journey through the poetry of Mariangela Gualtieri performed by Roberto Latini and heard through headphones [1][2]. On 13 November, at the Cine Teatro Baretti, Vincenzo Zampa presents Poesia dal basso ("Poetry From Below"), a piece for electric bass and solo voice blending narration, music and poetry slam [1][2]. On 14 November, at the San Salvario neighbourhood community centre, the talk Le donne nel mondo della cultura e del teatro ("Women in the World of Culture and Theatre") takes place, in collaboration with the Amleta collective, together with the performance Anatomia della voce ("Anatomy of the Voice") with Irene Ivaldi and Giuliana Vigogna [1][2].

Events open to the public also include Connessioni creative ("Creative Connections"), from 10 to 13 November at Tana Fools, and reading, poetry and creative-writing meetups in the city's libraries [1]. The festival closes on 21 November at Spazio Malerba with an evening devoted to artists under 35, followed by a DJ set [1].

Statements

Carlotta Salerno, councillor for Educational and Youth Policies of the City of Turin, said: «Costellazioni fully reflects the value we place on creativity as an opportunity for encounter, participation and collective growth. Taking theatre, poetry and the performing arts out of the traditional venues of performance means making culture more accessible and ensuring that neighbourhoods and local areas, too, become full protagonists of the event» [2].
