Cna Piemonte
Cna Piemonte is the regional branch of the Confederazione Nazionale dell'Artigianato e della Piccola e Media Impresa (Cna), chaired by Giovanni Genovesio, with Delio Zanzottera as regional secretary [1][2].
The survey on energy costs
In September 2026 Cna Piemonte published the survey «Energia e piccole imprese», carried out on a sample of member companies: 76.5% of small businesses saw their energy bills rise over the previous six months, with increases above 10% for almost two companies out of three; 84% consider energy costs a significant component of their business [1][2]. 56.8% of companies absorb the increases by cutting their margins, while only 20.4% manage to pass them on to final prices [1][2]. According to the survey, 78.2% of companies are worried about the effects of geopolitical tensions on energy markets [1][2]. Genovesio called for moving beyond «an approach made up mainly of emergency measures», urging greater market transparency and cost predictability [1][2].
