Carte in Dimora
«Carte in Dimora» is the National Day of the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane, which opens private archives and libraries housed in historic residences to the public free of charge. In the 2026 edition, more than 100 private archives across Italy opened free of charge. [2]
On 3 October 2026, under the patronage of the Città metropolitana di Torino, the fifth edition of the initiative took place. Ten archives were involved in Piedmont, in the provinces of Alessandria, Biella, Cuneo and Turin; the initiative is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the Italian National Commission for UNESCO and ANCI.
