On 8 November 1985 Turin's mayor Cardetti visited Cselt together with several city councillors.1

On 17 December 1985 Iri chairman Romano Prodi paid a long visit to Cselt's research laboratories, the telecommunications research centre of the Iri-Stet group.2

On 24 October 1989 Cselt's staff went on a four-hour strike.3

In September 1998 Cselt's research focused on the internet and mobile telephony, with sites on via Reiss Romoli, corso Svizzera and at Cascine Vica.4

In December 1998 Cselt won the Telework Award, the top prize of European Telework Week, for its decade-long commitment to technologies for people with disabilities.5
