All Saints' Day 2026 in the Cemeteries of Moncalieri and Nichelino

For All Saints' Day and the Commemoration of the Dead, from 30 October to 2 November 2026 the municipalities (Comuni) of Moncalieri and Nichelino put in place a coordinated set of measures for access to the local cemeteries, including extended opening hours, dedicated transport services and changes to road traffic [1][2].
Measures in Moncalieri
The municipal cemetery on strada Torino stayed open every day from 7:30 am to 5:45 pm. Routine and extraordinary maintenance works were suspended and vehicles belonging to companies and professionals were barred from entering [1][2]. The courtesy service with electric vehicles for people with walking difficulties inside the cemetery remained active, while from 30 October to 2 November free shuttle buses ran to the Cimitero Urbano and the Cimitero di Revigliasco [1][2].
From 30 to 31 October and on 1 November, the municipal police (Polizia Locale) introduced one-way traffic on the service road of strada Torino, along the cemetery's perimeter wall, running from Moncalieri Centro towards piazza Panissera [1][2]. On Monday 2 November at 3:00 pm a solemn mass was celebrated at the Cimitero Urbano, with provision to move it to the fifth extension area in case of bad weather [1][2].
Measures in Nichelino
Nichelino's municipal cemetery stayed open until 2 November from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, while the Stupinigi cemetery kept continuous hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm [1][2]. Inside the main cemetery, an internal transport service was run by volunteers of the Il Sorriso association together with young people from Raggio di Sole, in addition to wheelchairs made available by Civil Protection (Protezione Civile) [1][2].
For connections to the two cemeteries, the urban shuttle on line 1N was reinforced, on the routes towards via Martiri, via XXV Aprile and viale Torino in Stupinigi [1][2]. On the religious side, on Sunday 1 November the Rosary was held at Nichelino cemetery at 3:00 pm and an open-air Mass at 3:30 pm; on Monday 2 November services were held at 6:15 pm in the Santissima Trinità church and at 9:00 pm in the Madonna della Fiducia and Maria Regina Mundi parishes [1][2].
