Accademia Albertina

The Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti is an artistic institution in Turin. In the underground space of the Rotonda del Talucchi, inside its premises, from 18 September to 13 December 2026 it hosted the tenth consecutive edition of the World Press Photo Exhibition, the international photojournalism exhibition, featuring 144 images selected from more than 57,000 photographs submitted from 141 countries.

The Accademia's premises are located at via Accademia Albertina 6, in the center of Turin. [3]

The 144 photographs displayed in 2026 are the winners of the 69th edition of the World Press Photo Foundation competition in Amsterdam, chosen from the work of 3,747 photographers. [3]

The exhibition's Photo of the Year, taken by Carol Guzy for the Miami Herald, is distributed by the ZUMA Press agency. [4]

The subjects of the award-winning images range from wars and migration to the climate crisis and the fight for rights. [5]
