Urban 20 Mayors Summit
The Urban 20 (U20) is the platform promoted by cities that feeds into the G20 process, convened by C40 Cities and United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG). The annual summit, the Urban 20 Mayors Summit, brings together mayors and representatives of major cities from G20 countries to bring the perspective of urban governments into the international discussion on issues such as housing affordability, climate action and migration, concluding with a joint Communiqué. The 2026 edition was held on 19 and 20 September in New York, co-chaired by New York City and Los Angeles, with the participation of more than thirty cities including Torino, represented by Mayor Stefano Lo Russo.
