Unione Montana Valle Susa

The Unione Montana Valle Susa is a body bringing together the municipalities of the Valle di Susa. For Saturday 3 October 2026 it called the popular march «Fermiamo insieme l'Avigliana-Orbassano», against the proposed Avigliana-Orbassano railway line, with a route from Piazza XXV Aprile in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino to Piazza del Popolo in Avigliana [1][2][3]. According to the Unione Montana, the march was also joined by 16 administrators from the Valle di Susa and the metropolitan area and by the French mayor of L'Isle d'Abeau, Roland Borghi; the president, Pacifico Banchieri, stated that «today the Valle di Susa spoke with a single, civil and determined voice». [4]
