Tennis in Città 2026 stop in piazza Piemonte

On 24 and 25 October 2026, piazza Piemonte in Turin hosts a stop of «Tennis in Città 2026» ("Tennis in the City"), an event dedicated to physical activity, inclusion and public participation, organised as part of the build-up to the Nitto ATP Finals. The area in front of the Piedmont Region Skyscraper (Grattacielo della Regione Piemonte) becomes a sports space open to the public for two days. [1][2]
The event
The opening was held by regional councillor Andrea Tronzano, who welcomed the enthusiasts, children and families present. For the whole weekend the square hosts a tennis court and four table-tennis stations, free for anyone wishing to try their hand with a racket and ball, with the assistance of federal coaches and instructors for participants of all ages and levels. The Nitto ATP Finals trophy
Over the two days of the event, the Nitto ATP Finals trophy is on display inside the Sala Trasparenza (Transparency Hall) of the Piedmont Region Skyscraper. The display is open to the public free of charge, on Saturday and Sunday, from 9am to 6pm without a break. [1][2]

Regional sports councillor Andrea Tronzano stated that the Skyscraper and piazza Piemonte are home to all citizens, a place where sport becomes a spontaneous occasion for togetherness and social life, and that bringing racket sports among the people means promoting healthy lifestyles and spreading sporting culture.
