Teatro Superga Ballet
The Teatro Superga Ballet is a dance company founded in September 2026 as a project of the Superga Theatre in Nichelino (Turin). Artistic direction is entrusted to Laura Rossana Caffaro, director of the Centro Studi Armonia Danza.
The project is not a dance school, but a pre-professional pathway conceived as a bridge between academic training and the world of work: the dancers take part in the building of productions, from rehearsals to opening nights, as well as touring engagements.
The Ballet is permanently linked to the Teatro Superga, which hosts its activities and productions, also intended for other theatres and festivals, and collaboration with local dance schools is planned. For the theatre's artistic directors, Alessio and Fabio Boasi, the initiative adds a new dimension to the venue's cultural offerings; the mayor of Nichelino, Giampiero Tolardo, described it as «a new cultural project that brings together training, artistic production and the promotion of the local area».
