Special openings of the Ri.Mu. in Grugliasco (November–December 2026)
Date of the event:

The Ri.Mu. is the air-raid shelter and history museum of the city of Grugliasco, housed inside Villa Boriglione, in the Parco Culturale Le Serre, at via Tiziano Lanza 31. In November and December 2026 the site's underground corridor can be visited again after renovation works, with free special openings held alongside those of the nearby Istituto per i Beni Marionettistici e il Teatro Popolare – Museo Gianduja. [1][2]
The shelter and the new exhibition
The Ri.Mu. presents the new display of the Museo della Grugliaschesità, curated by the associations Cojtà Gruliascheisa, Agorart and Sezione Aurea, which were given the co-management of the site through a public call. In the "Grugliasco nel tempo" room, photographs are on display of the civic tower, of some notable people from Grugliasco and of the bealera (irrigation canal), marking the 610th anniversary of its construction. A second room is dedicated to silent cinema, with photographs of early-20th-century film equipment and of the Photodrama Producing Company of Italy, a film company once based in the Villa Boriglione complex. [1][2]
Dates and access
The Ri.Mu.'s special openings are set for Sunday 15 November, Sunday 29 November, Saturday 5 December and Sunday 20 December 2026, from 3pm to 5pm. Admission is free and limited to a maximum of ten people at a time; booking, by writing to cojta@libero.it, is recommended only for large groups. A phone number, 360 457237, is also available for information. [1][2]
The Museo Gianduja
In the same Villa Boriglione complex, the Museo Gianduja welcomes visitors every Sunday from 3pm to 7pm with a collection dedicated to figure theatre, including historic marionettes and puppets, period photographs, documents and objects linked to this tradition. In December, when the Santa Claus House (Casetta di Babbo Natale) opens at Villa Boriglione, the museum will also be open on Saturdays, at the same times. [1][2]
