Rotary charity dinner for Casa UGI at Bioparco Zoom (2026)
On 15 September 2026 the Rotary Club Torino Ovest e Dora, in an interclub event with the Rotary Club Torino Lagrange, organised a charity dinner at the Bioparco Zoom Torino, donating the proceeds of the service project to Casa UGI, an association supporting children and young people with cancer and their families.1
The evening's programme
The event opened with an aperitif on the park's Terrazza Savana, overlooking the savannah area among giraffes and lions. Dinner followed at the Bioparco's restaurant, during which three speakers took the floor.1
Carlo Giordano, president of Openature Foundation and founder of Immobiliare.it, recounted the history and development of the ZOOM project, including the difficulties faced in the period following the pandemic. Elisa Molinario, executive director of Openature Foundation, outlined the foundation's role in supporting ZOOM and its commitment to nature conservation and animal welfare. Enrico Pira, president of Casa UGI, described the association's activities on behalf of children and young people with cancer and their families.1

The proceeds of the evening's service project went to Casa UGI, in support of its care activities.1
