On 13 October 2026 the Piedmont Region, replying to two questions from regional councillors Alberto Unia and Alice Ravinale, clarified that authorisation for military helicopter testing by the Leonardo group in Val d'Ossola is a matter for Enac or the Ministry of Defence.
