On 20 October 2026, the millennial year of Susa Cathedral (Cattedrale di San Giusto) opened at the Diocesan Museum of Susa, with the presentation of the building's restoration projects in the presence of Cardinal Roberto Repole, Archbishop of Turin and Bishop of Susa, and of Lisa Accurti, superintendent for archaeology, fine arts and landscape for the Metropolitan City of Turin.1 The works, begun in mid-October, involve rebuilding the presbytery, restoring the crypt, adapting the liturgical space and reinforcing the walls of the apse area, under the direction of architect Corrado Azzolini.1

The presentation accompanied the opening of the exhibition «1027-2027. La Cattedrale di San Giusto. Da mille anni generatrice di memorie» ("1027-2027. Susa Cathedral: a thousand years generating memories"), which officially opens the millennial celebrations.1
