Monviso Volley–Club Italia 3-0 (1 November 2026)

The match is played on Sunday 1 November 2026 at the Pala Bus Company in Villafranca Piemonte, the venue hosting the home games of Wash4green Monviso Volley, a Piedmontese team competing in the Serie A2 women's volleyball championship. The yellow-and-blue side, coached by Giovi, face Club Italia, fourth in the standings before the round, in the match valid for round six of the competition.[1][2]

Pre-match

The match marks the return to Villafranca Piemonte of Ludovica Tosini, a 2008-born outside hitter who came through Union Volley's youth ranks before moving to Club Italia, a side arriving fourth in the standings with two points more than the Piedmontese, despite having played one match more. On the eve of the match, Pistolesi's availability remains in doubt, as she is dealing with an ankle problem picked up in the previous away match in Imola.[2]

The match

Before the match begins, Tosini and Moretti, both former Pinerolo players, are honoured. In the first set the teams stay level until 6-5 to Monviso, which then pulls away thanks to two consecutive aces from Cicogna (19-14) and closes it out 25-19. In the second set the yellow-and-blues go up by five (20-15) and, driven by Lazda and Enneking, close it 25-17. In the third set Monviso start strong with Lazda, extend the lead with Farina (15-10) and reach 20-12 with an ace from Cicogna, managing the lead to a final 25-19.[1]
