Michele Beltramone was a craftsman from Barge, in the province of Cuneo.1 In the 1980s, as a former plumber, he built with his own hands the «house that turns», a mushroom-shaped dwelling able to rotate on itself to follow the sun.2
He died in Barge on 7 October 2026, at the age of 91.3
