Marina Chiarelli

Marina Chiarelli is the Piedmont Region's councillor for Culture.1

On 27 September 2026, regarding the upcoming regional funds for Mutual Aid Societies (Società di Mutuo Soccorso), Chiarelli stated: "We safeguard a heritage that tells the social history of Piedmont, and we continue to keep it alive in the territories."1

On 28 September 2026, on the occasion of the allocation of over 2 million euros by the Piedmont Region for anti-violence centres and shelter homes, Chiarelli stated: "We must succeed in intervening before the irreparable happens." On 5 October 2026, in her capacity as councillor for Equal Opportunities, she announced new funding of over 2 million euros for work, housing and the independence of women who are victims of violence, stating: "From protection to freedom: we support women in work, housing and economic independence."
