Turin's Local Police find, inside an electrical substation not far from Parco Colletta, in Turin's Vanchiglia district, two electric scooters worth around 800 euros each, illegally connected to the grid through a transformer; officers from the Reparto Informativo Sicurezza Integrazione notice the forced door during a routine patrol on 7 October 2026. [1][2]

The scooters are seized and a complaint against persons unknown is filed for theft of electricity; the owner of one of the two vehicles, traced through the scooter's GPS, retrieves it from the unit, but risks being investigated himself should he turn out to be the one who made the illegal connection.
