IV Faculty of Engineering

ivfacolta.e-gate.to.it was the address of the website of the IV Faculty of Engineering of the Politecnico di Torino, the teaching body to which the university entrusted education in Management Engineering. The Faculty originated from the degree course in Management Engineering established in 1989, which later merged into the «Vilfredo Pareto» Polytechnic School of Economics and Organisation and was subsequently turned into a university Faculty.

The site presented the Faculty’s educational offerings: the first-level degree courses in Logistics and Production Engineering and in Business Organisation Engineering, the specialist degree course in Management Engineering, and several second-level master’s programmes, designed with the collaboration of a Consultation Committee made up of companies from various sectors. It also reported data from the Fondazione Agnelli on the time taken by Management Engineering graduates to find their first job, a course for which Piedmont accounted for more than 30% of Italian graduates in the subject.

The earliest copies recorded by the Web Archive date back to 2003, but show an empty placeholder page; the first copy with the Faculty’s actual content is from 9 June 2006. The last copy with the site still online is from 20 June 2007.
