The Festival delle Colline Torinesi, a showcase of contemporary theatre and dance founded in 1996, reaches its thirty-first edition in 2026. The event runs from 6 to 18 October, with a thirteen-day programme featuring 19 productions, 11 of which are national premieres.

The festival is directed by Isabella Lagattolla, who heads the Associazione Festival delle Colline Torinesi, in co-direction with Federica Rosellini, appointed by the Fondazione TPE. Sergio Ariotti, the Festival's president, oversees the Association's collateral events, a documentary and the festival's archive.

The heart of the festival is the Teatro Astra, alongside the Fondazione Merz and the Coro di Santa Pelagia, home of the Opera Munifica. The programme includes theatre, dance, performance and an immersive experience for a single spectator, «Deeper One», as well as masterclasses and talks; many of the artists featured are women or non-binary people under 45.

The prelude to the programme, at the Fondazione Merz, is a new work by Romeo Castellucci, «Credere alle maschere», staged on 6 and 7 October. The festival opens in national premiere at the Astra on 8 and 9 October with «Stabat Mater» by the Brazilian artist Janaina Leite. Other titles on the programme include the diptych «Quixote» by the Industria Indipendente collective, «Personne ne ramasse ma langue», «LAB_21 Mon corps n'obéit plus» (Italian premiere), «Ex Silens + Niranthea», «Sparks», «Pour la fin du temps», «Lament» and «Asteroide».
