Exhibition «Aldo Brovarone, Pininfarina's pencil» (October 2026)
The National Automobile Museum in Turin opens, in October 2026, the exhibition «Aldo Brovarone, Pininfarina's pencil», dedicated to designer Aldo Brovarone, from Biella, on the centenary of his birth.[1][2]
The exhibition, open in the first-floor project room from 7 October 2026 to 7 March 2027, tells the story of Brovarone's career from his meeting with Piero Dusio in Argentina to the years spent at the Pininfarina Style Centre from 1953 to 1988. [3]
Among the projects signed by Brovarone are the Superflow, which underpinned the development of the Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto, the Peugeot 504, produced in over 3,700,000 units, and for Ferrari the front-engined grand tourers from the Super America to the Superfast II, up to the mid-engined Dino Berlinetta Speciale. [3]
The exhibition displays 28 drawings from the Pininfarina Historical Archive, from Cesare Brovarone's archive and from Alfredo Stola's archive, together with posters, photographs, postcards and some cars, including the 1953 Maserati A6GCS/53 Coupé and the Dino Berlinetta Speciale, which returns to Italy for the first time since its presentation at the 1965 Paris Motor Show.
