On 26 October 2026, relatives of non-self-sufficient patients demonstrate outside Palazzo Lascaris, seat of the Piedmont Regional Council in Turin, to demand that the right to healthcare and social assistance be upheld. The demonstrators denounce the care-home (RSA) fees they must pay out of pocket and the lack of home care.
