CasaOz
CasaOz is the historic home of FondazioneOz, located in Turin along the banks of the Po river. It is a place dedicated to care, relationships and community, designed for children, teenagers, young people and families facing illness, disability and fragility. The color red has always identified CasaOz and also characterizes the initiatives and spaces linked to the project.[1][2]
Il Molino di CasaOz
In September 2026 FondazioneOz inaugurated Il Molino di CasaOz, a new space located just a short distance from the historic house, also on the banks of the Po. Il Molino was created through the restoration of a historic building and gives the community back about 1,000 square meters, intended to expand the foundation's spaces and activities. The building hosts educational and training activities, programs for socializing and building autonomy, and spaces dedicated to cooking and conviviality, with projects aimed in particular at the needs of adolescents and young people.[1][2]
The city's illumination
To mark the opening of Il Molino, on the evening of Sunday 20 September 2026 the Mole Antonelliana, the Ponte Balbis and the Ponte Isabella were lit up in red, the color that identifies CasaOz and that also characterizes the walls of the new space. The initiative symbolically linked the city's landmark monuments to the urban and building restoration project.[1][2]
Opening to the public
Following the symbolic lighting, Il Molino di CasaOz opened its doors to the public on Saturday 26 September 2026, from 3 pm to 7 pm, with an afternoon of initiatives, meetings and celebratory moments to introduce the project, the spaces and the activities of FondazioneOz.[1][2]
