Bilancio Partecipativo 2026 di Pinerolo

From 28 September to 5 October 2026, residents of Pinerolo vote in the 2026 Participatory Budget, which allocates 100,000 euros to the most-voted project among three finalists.

The three competing projects are a neighbourhood centre on corso Piave designed especially for young people, a new recreational area near the schools of Riva, and a travelling library to spread reading in the outlying areas.

Residents of Pinerolo aged at least 16 can vote online, with a single preference. The winning project, for the redevelopment of the recreational area in front of the Riva schools, received 1,154 votes, 56.4% of the 1,976 cast, ahead of the neighbourhood centre on corso Piave (757 votes, 38.3%) and the travelling library «Cultura in movimento» (107 votes, 5.3%); this is the sixth edition of Pinerolo's Participatory Budget.

The defeated project «Una casa di quartiere formato Pinerolo», proposed by Matteo Scali, editorial coordinator of Radio Beckwith Evangelica, called for creating, behind the auditorium of the Polo More — Medaglie d'Oro della Resistenza Pinerolese, on corso Piave, a multimedia room with a rehearsal space, recording studio and podcast room for cultural and workshop activities.
