Associazione Luca Coscioni
The Associazione Luca Coscioni, led nationally by Marco Cappato, is active in Turin through the local "Cellula Coscioni", coordinated by Davide Di Mauro. On 22 September 2026 the association filed, at Palazzo Lascaris, seat of the Piedmont Regional Council, a popular-initiative proposal for a regional law on end-of-life issues, signed by over 14,000 citizens of Piedmont. The text follows the model of the rules already adopted in Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Sardinia and Tuscany, and provides for the establishment of a multidisciplinary medical commission at every health authority and a standing regional ethics committee, tasked with assessing requests from patients seeking access to medically assisted suicide.
