Sister Angela Pozzoli dies in Turin on 26 September 2026, at the age of 93.

In 1989 she had founded in the city the Coordinamento mamme-bambino and the city's first shelter for victims of human trafficking. In 2021 she had been given an award by the Consiglio regionale del Piemonte for her work.
