AEM Distribuzione
aemdistribuzione.torino.it was the website of AEM Distribuzione, the company that managed Turin's electricity distribution network: the Internet Archive's first snapshot, from 2 June 2008, described its mission as ensuring high quality standards in managing the city network, under the corporate name AEM Torino Distribuzione S.p.A.1
The same page also presented Iride Energia, a company of the Iride group formed from the merger of AEM Torino and AMGA Genova, active in electricity and district heating and holding quality, environmental and safety certifications.1
By 2013 the mission statement had been expanded: AEM Torino Distribuzione was by then managing the network not only in Turin but also in Parma, through the companies Iren Emilia and Enia Parma, under the direction and coordination of Iren Energia; its registered office was at via Bertola 48 in Turin, with a share capital of 126,127,156 euros.2
By April 2016 the address redirected to the website of Ireti, another company of the Iren group, which described the maintenance and remote control of electricity distribution networks; TLS certificates for the domain aemdistribuzione.torino.it appear to have been issued only once, on 21 May 2014.34
