Targatocn.it
Targatocn.it is an online daily newspaper dedicated to the province of Cuneo, known as «la Granda». The site went online during the night between 20 and 21 May 2004 and describes itself as the province's first online daily [1]. It was launched as part of MoreNews, a publishing group that had already started Sanremonews; its first editor was Lamberto Giusti, who led the paper from 2004 to 2009, with the newsroom initially based in Madonna dell'Olmo before moving to Borgo San Dalmazzo [2].
Gianpiero Ferrigno and Cesare Mandrile subsequently served as editors; for over a decade the editor-in-chief has been Barbara Pasqua, while the group is led by Enrico Anghilante, who describes it as an organization of over 150 people dedicated to local journalism [1]. The paper is registered with the Court of Cuneo and is published by More News società cooperativa, with its newsroom on corso Nizza in Cuneo [3].
Starting from Targatocn.it, the group has expanded to dozens of local outlets across Piedmont, Liguria, Valle d'Aosta, Lombardy, the Côte d'Azur and Ticino, including La voce di Alba, La voce di Asti and Torinoggi [4]. The site covers news, politics, economy, sport and events in the towns of the Cuneo province and is one of the main sources of daily information for the province [2]. In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026, the site appears among the thousand most visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
