The Tar (Tribunale amministrativo regionale, Regional Administrative Court) is the first-instance body of administrative justice.
It had already once rejected the "Listening Room" (Stanza dell'ascolto) at Turin's Sant'Anna hospital, reopened in September 2026 following an announcement by regional councillor Marrone, a choice contested by the opposition as a use of healthcare spaces for propaganda purposes.1
