Start of Turin Airport's 2026/2027 winter season

On 25 October 2026 Turin Airport's 2026/2027 winter season opened. According to figures released by the airport, this is the richest schedule ever in terms of routes and seats offered: 93 routes, 62 destinations and 24 countries connected [1][2].

New destinations

Five airports had never before been served from Turin: Bilbao, Bratislava, Gdańsk, Glasgow Prestwick and Riga [1][2]. Wizz Air and Vueling have connected Bilbao since 25 October, while Wizz Air has also launched Sharm el-Sheikh from 27 October and Suceava from 18 December. Ryanair introduces Bratislava from 26 October and Budapest from 25 October [1].

Thanks to the opening of its own base in Turin, Wizz Air has also launched routes to Lamezia Terme and Malaga from 25 October, to Madrid from 26 October and to Naples from 1 December. The winter season also keeps the routes to Malaga and Tirana operated by Ryanair and the route to Salerno operated by Aeroitalia, all introduced during the summer [1].

Seats on sale and network

Total seats on sale for the season number about 3.7 million, one million more than the previous winter season, a rise of 38% [1][2]. The network reaches 46 international destinations, compared with 38 in the previous winter season, plus 16 domestic destinations [1].

The ski segment

The new schedule strengthens links to the Piedmontese mountains and the north-western Alps from markets in central, eastern and northern Europe. Poland is served from four airports: Wizz Air and Ryanair connect Turin to Wrocław, Gdańsk, Katowice and Warsaw, also served by LOT [1][2].

New routes aimed at skiers include the connection to and from Prague, served by both Wizz Air and Ryanair, and airBaltic's flight to and from Riga. Links from Britain are also strengthened, with new Ryanair flights to and from Glasgow Prestwick and Jet2.com flights to and from London Gatwick [1].

Increased frequencies

The season is also marked by increased frequencies on many already-connected destinations: in Spain, to Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga and Valencia; in Hungary, to Budapest; in Albania, to Tirana; and on the Italian destinations of Catania, Lamezia Terme, Naples and Palermo [1].
