The site cantine.studenti.torino.it, documented in the web archive from December 2000, was run by students of the Politecnico di Torino: it offered users' personal pages, job postings and multimedia material. In 2001 it announced a call for collaborators at the «Politecnico@Casa» office and the availability of the Linux Mandrake 8.0 and Red Hat 7.1 distributions; by 2002 Mandrake 8.2 and other distributions could also be downloaded via the site's FTP service.
