On 9 October 2026 police carried out 14 searches in various Italian cities targeting anti-establishment activists under investigation for the clashes that took place on 31 January 2026, linked to the eviction of the Askatasuna social centre in Turin. The searches were triggered after the public prosecutor had requested 19 precautionary measures against the suspects.1,2
