Searches linked to Askatasuna over the 31 January 2026 unrest

On 9 October 2026 police carried out 14 searches in various Italian cities targeting anti-establishment militants under investigation for the clashes of 31 January 2026, linked to the eviction of Turin's Askatasuna social centre. The searches follow the public prosecutor's request for 19 precautionary measures.
