Roure
Roure is a comune situated in Val Chisone, in the province of Turin. The comune's territory includes mountain hamlets reached via old hiking trails, including those leading to Roca Morel and the Garnier valley.
Guided hiking
Guided hikes are held in Roure as part of the "Péira – Pierres – Pietre" programme, dedicated to discovering the Val Chisone area through its historic trails. On 3 October 2026 the hike "Antiche borgate e vecchie strade" (Old hamlets and old roads) was organized, a loop route starting and ending in Roure at 9am with return expected by 4pm. The route, with a 700-metre elevation gain, passes through Roca Morel before descending into the Garnier valley.[1] Participation in the hike required mandatory booking, through the contacts indicated by the organizers.[1]
