Rocking
rocking.to.it was the official website of Rocking, described in the archive's first snapshot, from 3 August 2002, as a «classic rock 'n' roll trio»: the page announced a live date on 4 August in Pontboset, in Valle d'Aosta, and listed sections dedicated to the band's history, photos, concerts, discography, MP3s and an «Elvis fans club».1
In the snapshot from August 2003, the site, marked as parked, appeared reduced to a single page dedicated to an «Elvis Presley Tribute».2 By May 2006 the domain no longer had any link to the musical group: the archive records pages made up only of lists of advertising keywords, typical of expired domains resold for advertising purposes.3 The domain name rocking.to.it is not registered today in the .it registry.4
Rocking: from an Elvis Presley tribute band to a recycled domain in 2006
