Paolo Guiso

Paolo Guiso is the regional Guarantor for animal rights of Piedmont. On 6 October 2026 he presented to the regional Council the report on 2025 activity: 25 reports received, down from 39 in 2022, mostly linked to the social and economic hardship of owners. The report also notes a growing number of reports concerning synanthropic species such as gulls, coypus, grey squirrels, crows, badgers, foxes, wild boar and wolves, increasingly present in urban environments.
