Nursind mobilisation over the Dialysis ward works at Ivrea hospital (October 2026)

On 5 October 2026 the Nursind union launched a protest in Ivrea with travelling «sail trucks» to denounce work that had never started on the Dialysis ward of the Ivrea hospital and the forced transfer of patients to Castellamonte since March 2026. To protest, the union circulated sail trucks between Ivrea and Castellamonte, distributing an open letter to citizens, patients and staff.[3] The refurbishment concerns Block D of the hospital and, according to the union, the least stable patients have meanwhile been confined to temporary positions on the fourth floor of the Medicine ward.[3]12
