Mahindra

Mahindra is the company that, through Pininfarina Holdings (which holds 78.8% of Pininfarina), in September 2026 launched a voluntary total tender offer for the ordinary shares of Pininfarina listed on Euronext Milan, for up to 16,660,587 shares equal to 21.177% of the share capital, at a price of 1 euro per share — a 20% premium on the closing price of 15 September 2026 — ahead of the company's delisting from Piazza Affari. Mahindra & Mahindra's interest in Pininfarina had already emerged in March 2015, when rumours of a possible sale caused Pininfarina shares to gain over 26% on the stock exchange, although the parties did not reach any binding agreements at that time. In November 2020 a video conference between Pininfarina Mahindra and the Fim, Fiom and Uilm trade unions ended without an agreement on the shutdown of the Engineering division, with 135 redundancies declared. [4]
