Ferribiella
Pet accessories company from Biella, founded in 1980 by the Avonto family and based in Verrone.

Ferribiella is a company from the Biella area that designs and distributes pet accessories, based in Verrone [1] [2]. The business grew out of the family's hardware store in Biella-Vaglio: in 1980 Alberto Avonto and his wife Carmen steered it toward the pet market, and the turning point came with nylon leashes, still absent from Italy at the time [1]. In the late 1980s the company launched buffalo-hide bone-shaped treats under the «Fornaio per il tuo cane» line, and in the 1990s its first line of cosmetics for dogs and cats [1].
Today the firm is led by the second generation, Genny and Alessandro Avonto [1] [2]. Its catalogue exceeds 8,000 items, including leashes, collars and harnesses, dog clothing, grooming and care products, toys and snacks, and includes collaborations with fashion and sports brands such as Karl Lagerfeld, Save the Duck, Versace and Juventus [1] [2]. The company has around thirty employees and as many sales agents, occupies four warehouses totalling about 20,000 square metres and sells in some forty countries, with exports accounting for roughly 30% of turnover [1]. In 2016 its Italian network comprised over 2,000 specialised stores [2].
The website ferribiella.it is the online showcase for the company and its collections, which grow by hundreds of new items every year; since July 2015 the company has paired the site with an online ordering system reserved for retailers [2]. In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026 the site ranks among the top 100,000 most visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
