Elvio Rostagno
Elvio Rostagno is a candidate for mayor of Pinerolo in the 2027 municipal elections. Ahead of the vote, Italia Viva also leaves the broad coalition and lines up, together with Azione, Ora! and Mre, in support of his candidacy.
On 22 September 2026 Rostagno renews his willingness to run, less than two months after withdrawing it, on condition that a broad team capable of governing forms around him. [3]
On 29 September Azione, Ora! and the Movimento Repubblicani Europei become the first groups to back him, pointing to the need for a new phase after ten years of city administration. [4]
As a regional councillor he was the rapporteur for the regional law on building reuse, presented in November 2018 at a public meeting in Cuorgnè. [5]
