Death of a Businessman in Valenza

On the afternoon of 4 October 2026, a 73-year-old businessman, identified by the initials G.R., died after falling from the roof of a warehouse in the industrial area of Valenza, in the province of Alessandria. The man was the owner of the company and of the building.[1][2][3]
The Sequence of Events
According to initial reports, the man was cleaning the gutters when the roof skylight suddenly gave way, causing him to fall.[1][2][3]
The Discovery
Emergency services were alerted by his wife, who grew worried when her husband failed to return home. The body was found that evening.[1][2][3]
Emergency Response and Investigations
In addition to medical personnel from the 118 Emergency Service, the carabinieri and the Spresal service, responsible for workplace safety inspections, responded to the scene.[1][2][3]
