Crack lab discovered in an apartment in Barriera di Milano (October 2026)

Police discover a laboratory for preparing and packaging crack cocaine in an apartment in Barriera di Milano, Turin, and arrest two men, seizing more than 800 grams of drugs and 1,900 euros in cash [1][2].

Officers had noticed a 61-year-old Senegalese man posing as a taxi driver and, after seeing him double-park on via Bongiovanni to enter a building, waited for him to come out before stopping and identifying him [3]

Checks were then extended to the apartment the man had just left [3]

Once inside, officers also caught a 21-year-old Malian man and found that a home laboratory had been set up in the living room and kitchen to cook cocaine and turn it into crack [3]

On tables and around the rooms they found hard discs, razor blades, plates, cutting agent, two precision scales and a large amount of material for packaging doses [3]

The seized drugs consisted of cocaine and crack, found both in solid form, known as a «rock», and already divided into doses ready for retail sale [3]

Checks also revealed that the 21-year-old had no valid residence permit [3]

Both men were taken to Turin's Lorusso e Cutugno prison [3]
