The Casa di Quartiere Bagni Pubblici di via Agliè, in the Barriera di Milano district of Turin, is a social and community centre founded in the 1950s, where a public shower service is still active today. On 16 September 2026, the redeveloped spaces of the facility were inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, at the end of works carried out through the Social Case project with an investment of 468,000 euros in PNRR funds (Mission 5, investment line 1.3.2 «Stazioni di posta»), supplemented by 83,000 euros in co-financing from the Kairos Consorzio di Cooperative Sociali. The works involved bringing the premises up to code, improving accessibility, reorganising the interior spaces, creating new sanitary facilities, upgrading the systems and enhancing the common and outdoor areas.

The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Turin Stefano Lo Russo, the Councillor for Social Policies Jacopo Rosatelli, the director of the Bagni Pubblici di via Agliè Erika Mattarella, the president of Kairos Consorzio di Cooperative Sociali Daniele Caccherano and the director of the Department of Social, Health and Housing Services of the City of Turin Monica Lo Cascio.
