Carol Rama

Carol Rama was a painter from Turin.¹²

On 29 October 2026 the Castello di Rivoli opens the exhibition «Marisa Merz. La danza delle ore» (The Dance of the Hours), curated by Francesco Manacorda and Marianna Vecellio, as part of the Torino Art Week 2026 programme, which also includes projects dedicated to Carol Rama and Giulio Paolini. Works by Carol Rama were also shown at the Flashback Art Fair 2026, open in Turin until 1 November. The Castello di Rivoli also opened the exhibition «Carol Rama: Capitolo 1. Dorina e gli altri» (Chapter 1. Dorina and the others), curated by Marcella Beccaria in collaboration with the Carol Rama Archive, the first chapter of a multi-year project that dedicates to the artist a monographic room designed to change over time, with eleven works relating her early figurative watercolours to the abstract, material-based experiments of the 1970s. ^{[4] [3]12}
