Visit to Turin by Stellantis chief executive Antonio Filosa (9 October 2026)

On 9 October 2026 Stellantis chief executive Antonio Filosa makes a stop in Turin, with a series of meetings dedicated to the Mirafiori plant: first at the Piedmont Region skyscraper with president Alberto Cirio, deputy president Maurizio Marrone and productive activities councillor Andrea Tronzano, then at Palazzo Civico with mayor Stefano Lo Russo.1

The meetings focus on the productivity and employment levels at the Mirafiori plant: president Cirio states that, to safeguard the plant and its staff, «we believe the arrival of a second model would really be important», noting that Turin's production output is growing compared with 2025 but still far from the levels needed for full employment.1

Mayor Lo Russo reiterates the importance of continuing to invest in Mirafiori, «strengthening production capacity and building the conditions to welcome new models alongside the 500», and calls for the Italian government to take stronger action on the automotive crisis.1

Filosa also takes part, the same day, in the Wave by Vento event at the Officine Grandi Riparazioni (OGR) on corso Castelfidardo.1
