Luci d'Artista

Luci d'Artista is the annual exhibition of light-art installations in the streets and squares of Turin, promoted by the City of Turin. The exhibition is produced by the Fondazione Torino Musei and curated by Antonio Grulli. ^[2]1

The 29th edition, presented by the City of Turin, includes thirty-one installations, among them four new works by Tony Oursler, Flavio Favelli, CANEMORTO and Samson Young, lit from 23 October 2026 to 10 January 2027. Among the novelties is the participation of photographer Massimo Vitali as a special guest, with a work dedicated to the social and communal dimension of the event. ^[6] The underground electrical substation in Piazza Arbarello, run by Ireti, hosts on 30 and 31 October the installation «Hotel Savoia» by Flavio Favelli, created in collaboration with the Iren group. ^[5] «The Radiant Van» by the trio CANEMORTO turns a Fiat Ducato van into a travelling luminous lantern. ^[4] The work «Poetiche del confine» («Border poetics») by Flavio Favelli, in Piazzetta Reale, is made with materials recovered from the rubble of the bombings Turin suffered during the Second World War. ^[3] The opening is held on 23 October at 6.15 pm at the Politecnico di Torino, with the lighting of the work «Star*(life)» by Tony Oursler. ^[3]1
